Homestay or private living?

At Iguana Abroad we understand the importance of incredible accommodation. For the 2024 season we have two great options depending on your preferences – you will have the choice of living in a homestay with a local Mexican family, allowing you to practice your Spanish 24/7, or alternatively the option of private accommodation with other Iguana Abroad participants.

Homestays - the authentic mexican experience

Which is best for you?

The style of accommodation that is best for you depends on your personal preferences, current Spanish level and your goals for the course. If your aim for Iguana Abroad is to learn Spanish as quickly as possible, a homestay is most likely the best option for you. It is total immersion.

Alternatively, if you prefer to take your Spanish learning at a slower pace and spend more time in an English-speaking environment, the independent accommodation may be a more suitable option.
